FIRST METHODIST CHURCH OF VAN NUYS

2010  THE YEAR OF VALLEY ADVENTURES

THANK YOU RICHARD HILTON
As the year draws toward an end, I am busy hand tinting my Christmas cards and thinking about all of the people who have worked so hard over the last 12 months to bring about a great Museum of history and culture for the San Fernando Valley.
I'll begin by giving a special vote of thanks to Richard Hilton, the Director of Museum Tours and Adventures, who continues to build truly exciting on-site experiences for us all. This year Richard Hilton expanded The Museum's tours to include a terrific bus tour of the Northridge - Porter Ranch area of the Valley and an inspiring walking tour of historic Van Nuys.  Richard, with his fellow Museum Board member Bronwyn Ralph has also expanded the number of walking tour in historic North Hollywood.

Thank you Richard Hilton for your efforts to bring San Fernando Valley history alive. Your Valley owes you our gratitude.  We are all looking forward to that book on Van Nuys history on which you are working. Here's a small present:
