LAS HADAS IN NORTHRIDGE

CHERISHING OUR VALLEY        2013

Las Hadas Mexican Restaurant has been a San Fernando Valley fixture since its Northridge opening in 1981.
Las Hadas utilizes Mexican and California movies in its decor.

The ancient Aztec symbol of the eagle capturing a rattle snake is the theme of a large stained glass window in Las Hadas restaurant. You will certainly realized that this symbol is the centerpiece of the flag of the Republic of Mexico.

Johnny Vana's Big Band Alumni is a major cultural asset of the San Fernando Valley. The band is in action every Tuesday morning and on Wednesday nights.

Something tells me that the young couple in this image over the cashier's desk at Las Hadas isn't Mexican. It seems East Indian to me. What do you think?
